BINHAM ART GROUP
We are a friendly group of amateur artists who meet on Tuesday Mornings in the Binham Village Memorial Hall from 9.30- 12.30. We tend to work on our own projects, although roughly every 6 weeks or so we have a workshop or presentation from an established local artist.
We particularly encourage beginners and willingly share our skills, tips and techniques. You can stay for 2 hours (£3) or 3 Hours (£4) which includes a coffee and biscuit break.
A selection of our work for sale can be seen in the village pub, at the Gallery @ The Chequers and each year we hold an annual summer exhibition in August, please see our Events page for details. For any enquiries please call John Hill on 01328 830378 or Brenda/Lionel Wilde on 01263 711658
September 2018 - It is with sadness and regret we announce we have recently lost two of our members - Sarah Iles and Morton Levine. They both fondly enjoyed the Art Group and forged many friendships; they will be sadly missed. As a small tribute, for the next month, our scrolling slideshow will show a selection of their work.
Binham Art Group Charity Donations
Each year members of the Art Group select a key Charity to support. The Group makes a financial contribution to the Charity through income from sales of pictures, donations received at the Art Group functions and other fund raising activities.
We are fortunate to follow our pastime in the Binham Memorial Village Hall. This Hall is dedicated to those who gave their lives in various conflicts. 2018 marks the centenary of the ending of the First World War so it is appropriate and fitting that our chosen Charity this year is in support of our Armed Forces. On this occasion we have elected to support two National Charities who do so much for our Armed Forces Personnel and their families.
